Township Cruise Experience
Makana Tourism recently took the employees of Ntsika Senior Secondary School on an exploration of Makhanda East, thanks to the Township Cruise Experience.
We thank this wonderful group of individuals for joining us and hope that their newfound memories of Makhanda will be great ones that mark them as ambassadors of Makana.
We also want to thank our local guide, Akhona (Bhodl’ingqaka) Mafani, for his well-informed talks along the Township Cruise route, and another big thank you to Councillor Rami Xonxa for his fascinating information about our local history. We need to mention that we greatly appreciated the professionalism of Yabo Tours, our reliable transport for the event, who went out of their way to make this an extra-special event.
This was a new experience for all of us, and we really appreciate the cooperation and encouragement from the management of Mandisa’s Tavern, The Backyard, Jazz Corner, and Bluetooth. Thank you so much for giving us a chance to visit your businesses as part of the Township Cruise.
