Indoor Sports centre

The Sport Centres in Joza location and K Street location has training facilities that help to level the playing field and provide affordable conferencing options.

Joza Indoor Sports Centre: A pavilion and open space for large gatherings. Other facilities offered by the venue is a kitchen, and a boxing area that can be used for a holding room or any other function for the meeting.

K Street Indoor Sports Centre: Open space that accommodates about 800 people and 120 tables seated depending on the meeting requirements. Limited seats are available.

Albany Museum

Albany Museum was established in 1855 and is the second oldest museum in South Africa. It has a gallery (an open venue) which can be utilised for events. The venue requires event organiser to bring own equipment. It can host up 50 delegates

Amazwi South African Museum of Literature is the new name of the National English Literary Museum. The museum now has a mandate to collect literary artefacts from all the linguistic communities of South Africa. The Highlander

Situated at 10 Worcester Street in Makhanda, The Highlander is well placed for visitors to the City. Established in 1965 as an old boys club to St Andrews’ College. The new facility rebuilt in 2008, caters for the general public as well as the three-school family of St Andrews’ College, DSG and St Andrews Prep. The facilities are available for events, meetings and weddings.
