Celebrating our Local Heroes at the Creative City Craft Market: Saturday, 05 November 2022.

Rain, wind and then a lot of sun and fun were the order of the day at the Creative City Craft Market: Saturday, 05 November 2022.

It was a playland for both children and adults featuring local crafts and food vendors; a beer garden, thanks to Major Fraser's, Olde 65 and Solulele Events, who catered for all tastes; a kiddies' play area with lots of activities and Wonder Woman at the helm; and live entertainment, courtesy of Obi - Bird King, CM Vellem Creative Arts Group, Fingo Village dancers in c/o Zwelinzima Somyali and Makhanda Marimba Band in c/o Ace Jaha.

Makana Tourism therefore extends a big thanks to all these local heroes who braved the weather until the sun came out. It is always a pleasure to have you with us at the Creative City Craft Markets. We thank you for your continued team work to place Makhanda on the map for all to explore!

Most importantly, a thank you goes out to the National Arts Festival office for their infrastructure support and Hi-Tech for their security guards, who tirelessly kept us safe.
