Dr Amiabh Mitra is inviting you to him in the book launch at Amazwi South African Museum of Literature, in Makhanda on 10 July 2025 at 5.30pm for 6pm. Coastlines: Writings of South Africans of Indian Origins is a peep in the indenture of 1860 Indians in South Africa. In this book, descendants of indentured labour share stories in poems and prose. Similarities with the Apartheid system present during that time in South Africa.
