Shrove Tuesday Pancake Treat

It's that time of year again, when traditionally Christians got ready for the fasting season of Lent by having a "feast" on Shrove Tuesday. You can use this day as a treat day or a pancake evening for your event.
The good news for students and anyone else on a tight budget is that these delicious and nourishing pancakes will be on sale from R8. Savoury options include mince or chicken!
The feast will get under way at St George's Hall, down the lane opposite Grahamstown Pharmacy, from 16:30.
There will be tables available for families and friends to sit down and eat together, or you can take away your pancakes to enjoy at home.
