We also offer accommodation option at 30 on Oatlands road while we are completing renovations at Stone's Hill.  Centrally situated in the Oaktree lined suburb of Oatlands. 

Grahamstown histoical landmarks include: Artificers Square, the old artisan quarter with many restored original houses which reflect a number of 1820 Settler architectural styles. The Botanical Gardens, 1820 Settlers National Monument, Fort Selwyn, Gunfire Hill, used as a lookout point for the garrison in early Grahamstown years. Albany History Museum, Selmar Schonland Herbarium, a pressed plant library. National English Literary Museum & Bookshop, Observatory Museum. The Observatory is a unique multi-storeyed 19th century Victorian shop and home which is now a museum. Visit the Egazini Memorial one of the first township based heritage sites in South Africa. The Memorial marks the event of the Battle of Grahamstown which took place in 1819. Don't forget the students "night-life" including some wonderful restaurants and viby pubs and much much more.
