The Grahamstown Christmas Market, organised by the Rapportryers and NG Kerk, is taking a step up (the hill) for the fifth year of this young, but maturing, venture. It was felt by the organisers that more space could open up exciting new possibilities. The cosy venue at the historical NG Kerksaal has character and charm, but will have to be the stepping stone for the move to the Neels Heunis Hall at Hoërskool PJ Olivier on 28-30 November. Exciting exhibitors have booked stands, including well-known Port and wine producers from Calitzdorp, Moon Shadow Jewellery, Izinto, and several other new exhibitors from Jeffreysbay. Honey from Kirkwood, handmade glassware, decadent sweets, cheeses, olive products , Jo’s Cookies, Tamjazi, art work, interior decor and Christmas items to-die-for will be on display. Bargain Books will join us again. More space has opened the door for new stalls and a larger Coffee shop and more food options, as well as outdoor activities and a Jumping Castle especially for kids and youngsters. Parking will be a joy, making the outing up the hill much more of a relaxing and festive experience, in the spirit of Christmas. Please call Annalise Bosch on 083 279 7969, 046 622 7116 (o/h) or e-mail her on grahamstownphy@imaginet.co.za for up to date information.
