Kingswood College is honoured to have Dr Emmanuel Taban, Pulmonologist and author of "The Boy Who Never Gave Up" join them on Friday, for an unforgettable evening that promises to be thought-provoking and inspirational. Dr Emmanuel Taban is regarded as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Africans this event is sure to be one of the highlights of your year.

At the age of 16, Dr Emmanuel Taban left his country of birth, South Sudan after his father was killed in the South Sudanese Civil War. With the help of various charity groups, Dr Taban was able to complete his secondary education and was able to go on to study medicine at Medunsa University.
Despite the various challenges that Taban has faced in order to get to where he is today, he is now a successful Pulmonologist who holds three medical degrees and has most recently qualified to offer expert pulmonology care at Mediclinic Highveld (an invaluable service for a rural area) and also practises at Mediclinic Midstream.
The format of the evening will be broken into three parts:
Part 1: Dr Taban's incredible life story
Part 2: "What it has been like being on the ground during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic"
